ELEMENTS OF RESPONSIBILITY
How do you use design to tell a story?
The sculpture "Elements of Responsibility" is presented as part of an honorary title award ceremony to people who are closely connected to the Federal Section of Civil Engineers or the profession, who can demonstrate outstanding professional achievements or who have made a special contribution to civil engineering.

THE AWARD
The BSZI is made up of a variety of departments. In order to get an approach for the design, an attempt was made to extract the essence of the commonalities .
The result of this discussion are the three basic elements of the sculpture: The Society, the Drive and the Base .
These are symbols of daily activities and work for society within the framework of Austrian legislation.
THE IDEA

The confidently placed BKZT logo illustrates the connection to the profession of civil engineers.
The multi-layered structure not only symbolizes the complexity of the fields and tasks but also, through its transparent side view, signifies honesty and modesty.
Clearly readable linear shapes combined with visible screws emphasize technical precision.
The elegant, classic high-gloss plaque bears the honorary title and the name of the distinguished individual.
